Watch: Pakistan’s First Lady explores Abu Dhabi Art 2025 at Manarat Al Saadiyat
Galleries from 34 countries present cutting-edge modern and contemporary artworks
ABU DHABI – Pakistan’s First Lady, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former President Asif Ali Zardari and late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, visited Abu Dhabi Art 2025 at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
She was accompanied by her sister, Bakhtwar Bhutto, highlighting the presence of one of Pakistan’s most prominent political families at the annual art festival.
On arrival, senior representatives of the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) welcomed the First Lady.
During her visit, she toured a wide range of galleries and pavilions from across the globe, engaging with artists, curators, and exhibitors.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari emphasised that artistic exchange plays a crucial role in fostering understanding between societies and deepening cultural ties.
Abu Dhabi Art 2025
The 17th edition of Abu Dhabi Art was inaugurated yesterday by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The Crown Prince viewed a selection of leading artworks and installations, underscoring the exhibition’s role in promoting creative talent and providing a platform for international cultural dialogue.

This year, the fair brings together 142 galleries from 34 countries, including 53 participating for the first time, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s growing stature as a global arts hub. His Highness reaffirmed the importance of strengthening the emirate’s cultural landscape through initiatives such as Abu Dhabi Art.
What’s on display?
Abu Dhabi Art serves as the annual culmination of a year-round visual arts programme, featuring modern and contemporary works, exhibitions, commissions, and installations.
